Goldy Schulz, a Colorado caterer, was hired by Barry Dean, a mall manager, to do a cocktail party for the mall's elite shoppers club. Before she hardly begun setting up for the party, she finds herself in the path of a truck that has no intention of stopping until both she and Barry are crushed beneath it. She determined to do her job and she manages to get the party started on time. But with the outbreak of an ugly spat among the guests, the behavior of Barry's girlfriend and Barry's own strange actions after the truck incident, the event is a catastrophe.
