Description
The sudden death of his wife has left Jack lost and alone. He is despised by his son and ignored by neighbours. A ray of sunshine arrives in the unlikely form of the eight-year-old, Florrie, when she moves in next door and delights in Jack's neglected racing pigeon, Ruby unwittingly rekindles Jack's love for life and forces him to come to terms with his past. When his glamorous French neighbour, Stephanie, takes pity on him, Jack cannot help but fall for her charms. But when Stephanie reveals a well-kept secret, the nature of Jack's friendship with Florrie, who has gone missing, is questioned by everyone and his life thrown into turmoil once again.
