Notes

Description
Inspector Ian Rutledge of Scotland Yard is sent to Ely Cathedral to investigate the death of a man shot at a society wedding. Then there is a second murder in a village close by. Nothing logical connects them, but subsequent murders remind Rutledge of something he witnessed in the war may prove to be the missing link.
