Description
Arriving in Maryville, Indiana in 1841, John Edwin and Maude Worthington con pious Adam Gibson out of the title to a dark cabin near the Devil's Dell. They meet obviously wealthy John Morrow not knowing he is a slave trader, thief and murder on the run for the law. Morrow is lured to their cabin and never seen again. The Worthingtons rise to affluence, but a dark secret haunts their son Thomas. When John Edwin and Maude are murdered in their mansion near the cabin, Reverend Jeremiah Harmon and his son John investigate.
