A cracked lense

Image of item
"I thought I was finished after writing “Life in my shoes” but, the reality is, life goes on. Since writing this part of my biography, I’ve learned that my Injury has been classified as a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Since the brain is the least understood organ in the human body, I’ve taken that classification to mean “We don’t know” from the doctors. However, it’s rare to find a doctor that will spend 10+ years in Medical school AND admit when they don’t know. This, coupled with the smalltown ignorance I grew up with has fueled my perception of life through “A Cracked Lense” ." -- back cover.
