The Classen sisters have all moved back to their family homestead in charming Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, to reopen Secondhand Blessings, their family's resale and gift shop, situated in the old barn. Elizabeth Classen, the never-married eldest, cared for their mother until her recent death. Martha Classen Watts, the middle sister, is trying to make a new life without her beloved late husband. Mary Classen Baxter, the free spirit of the three, is nursing a broken heart due to her husband leaving her for a younger woman. The sisters confront more than they bargained for when Anita Smucker consigns several items from her family estate at the shop. On the store's grand-opening day, Anita returns ad tells them she accidentally gave them something of great value- but she doesn't even know what it is! As the sisters set out to reover the mysterious item, the clues point to an ancient family feud and heartbreaking stories of loyal friendship!
