Description
The story of the early years of widower Ben Cartwright and his three sons. Ben acquires some land in the Nevada territory where he wants to build a ranch, the Ponderosa. The adventure is challenging and the father tries to teach his sons through example the values of honesty, integrity and fairness. In adversity the family perseveres in maintaining their principles.
