In plain sight
After the sad loss of the Classen sisters' dear friend, Bertha Shetler, Mary finds herself drawn to comfort Katura Stolfuz, a shy young woman who had been taken in by Bertha for the past few months. Mary knows the pain of losing a mother, and she hopes she can comfort Katura during this difficult time. But when Dan Bontrager suddenly returns to Bird-in-Hand after turning his back on the Amish life years before, Mary finds it strange that he seems to be showing an interest in Katura. Then two more people show up in town in search of a missing loved one, each of them fearing theowrst and with strikingly similar descriptions. Is it concidence? Or could they share a connection? Mary is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery.
